SNK has confirmed that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 next month.
The developer has looked to combine “accessible controls and exhilarating action with a strategic depth that matures the more you play,” the game includes a beginner-friendly control option and seamless online multiplayer with support for cross-platform and rollback netcode.
There are two control schemes: Smart Style lets you perform special moves and combos with simple button inputs, whereas Arcade Style has more traditional inputs, which “deliver the depth and precision expected from the franchise.”
Whether you purchase the Standard Edition ($19.99) or the Starter Edition ($29.99), those who pre-order the game will receive an exclusive pre-order bonus, which is a classic costume for Mai Shiranui. The Starter Edition includes the base game and the Season Pass 1-3 character lineup.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 22 October 2026, with the Starter Edition to be released physically from 21 January 2027.
