Razer is continuing its year-long celebration of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary with three new Pokémon-themed headset editions inspired by Sylveon, Charizard, and Lucario. These are existing Razer headset models with new Pokémon-themed designs and assets, rather than entirely new headset platforms.
The Razer Kraken V4 X Sylveon Edition costs $109.99. This soft pink-and-blue wired headset features Razer TriForce 40 mm Drivers, a retractable HyperClear Cardioid mic, and Razer Chroma RGB lighting.
The Kraken V4 X is already an established entry in Razer’s headset lineup, so what you are primarily paying for here is the new Sylveon treatment. The headset itself is a solid wired option, although the Pokémon edition does come at a noticeable premium compared to the standard model.
AdvertisementCharizard and Lucario each get a Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed edition, priced at $119.99 over on Razer’s website, but priced at $139.99 on Target’s website. Both wireless esports headsets feature Razer TriForce 50 mm Drivers Gen-2 and HyperSpeed Wireless for fast, low-latency performance during competitive play.
The BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed is arguably the more interesting headset of the bunch because the standard version is already a well-regarded wireless gaming headset. It offers a lightweight design, long battery life, and Razer’s low-latency wireless connection, making these Pokémon editions more than just collector pieces with familiar characters slapped onto them.
We also recently reviewed the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed Charizard Edition, so if you want to know how the headset actually performs, be sure to check out our full review.
AdvertisementI’ve seen the Charizard headset (because I reviewed it as mentioned above), and it’s easily my favorite, which probably isn’t surprising considering I’m a massive fan of the fire-breathing Pokémon. The black, orange, and red design fits Charizard especially well, while the Lucario version goes with the familiar black-and-blue color scheme associated with the Fighting and Steel-type Pokémon.
Razer also went a little further than simply putting Pokémon artwork on the outside of the earcups. The inside of the earcups includes designs of the respective Pokémon as well, which is a nice touch and gives the headsets a little more personality than your typical branded collaboration.
All three headsets will be available exclusively at Target, making them more limited than Razer’s usual hardware releases. They could appeal to Pokémon fans shopping for a new gaming headset, as well as collectors looking to add more Pokémon gear to their setups.

But you gotta be fast before they are all gone.
